Courthouse Construction - Parking Lot & Alley Access Beginning Wed April 25th, contractors will begin utility work in the courthouse alley. The main purposes are to bury the utility wires, to remove unneeded power poles, to resurface the alley, and to resurface the elected official’s parking lot. This project is expected to be completed by Friday May 25. During this time, the contractors will be re-routing traffic on 3rd Ave, on 2nd Ave, and in the parking lots. There will be signage and flaggers to help the drivers navigate the streets, alley, and parking lot. Pedestrian traffic will be re-routed around the construction area. Please watch for traffic if you are walking in these areas. Please follow the directions of the flaggers and use care while driving/walking in these areas. New Cold Case Unit - Sheriff's Office The CCU is comprised of Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office Detectives, retired investigators, Reserve Deputies, a crime analyst and forensic experts. Information that at one time may have seemed insignificant could prove to be the missing element in solving an open case when combined with new tips and leads.
